Before any work involving digging or excavation, it’s essential to know what’s below. The new BYDA app gives you 24/7 access to obtain key safety guidelines and utility plans for your project site before breaking ground.

  • Manage enquiries end-to-end – Track progress, monitor asset owner responses, and view updates in real time. 
  • Check response times – See estimated wait times from registered asset owners. 
  • Access utility plans and safety guidelines – Review and download essential information. 
  • Share with your team – Forward enquiry details to keep everyone aligned. 

A great new feature of the BYDA app is the ability to view responses that have already been received for an enquiry when your device is offline. Note: you will not be able to lodge a new enquiry while offline.

New BYDA app available

Important Update for Existing Users 

The previous BYDA app is now known as BYDA Classic. This app will be retired from the Apple App Store and from Google Play in early 2026. To continue enjoying full access to BYDA’s free referral service and new functionality, users should download the new app as soon as possible.
